Our Mission

EMPOWERING PEOPLE

Carballo International is a nonprofit committed to doing all it can to achieve sustainable development goals in Latin America. We strive to give families affected by poverty or disease a healthy start, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. There are many alienated groups of people that require support to improve their quality of life. We work with civil, business, government, and academic groups toward the goal of helping children and families in extreme poverty and people with disabilities.

Our organization's objectives are in the following 4 areas:

HEALTH/MEDICINE:

We donate to agencies, localities, municipalities, or people in need. The items will be to help the community and can be, but aren’t limited to medicine, first aid kits, wheelchairs, and any other necessary resources with the main focus on helping alienated/vulnerable groups and people with disabilities.

EDUCATION:

Carballo International organizes the donation of school items, bicycles, computers, or any other resource for children in areas of low resources. We work in unison with the parents and schools that require the most support.

SOCIAL WELLNESS/SPORTS:

We disperse any necessary items for the benefit of families or entire communities with the goal of improving the health of all. Free yoga, nutrition classes, and other programs educating the community to improve their health. We accept donations of sports equipment for children within the most impoverished communities.

DIET/NUTRITION:

One of our main focuses as an organization is to offer nutrition classes and free breakfasts for the community. We help nourish the community through the donation of food and provisions to impoverished communities and people.

All people regardless of where they live deserve the basic knowledge of health and wellness. We empower our brothers and sisters living in poverty to be as healthy as possible. We are fighting against malnutrition which has set off a diabetes epidemic among other chronic diseases. We educate and support whole communities bringing programs of wellness, nutrition, medicine, and sports so they can live as healthy as possible within their means.
